Backyard Boutique Party Network (“BBPN”) is
offering a unique way for women-owned businesses to market their
companies, showcase their products, spotlight their services, network
and increase sales…all in a hip, fun, and creative party
atmosphere…with little effort or cost on the part of the business
owner. The membership-based
networking group is made up of women from all different levels of
entrepreneurship, ranging from those who only have an idea with a desire
to start a business to those with already established businesses looking
to make quality contacts and get new customers.
What started out as “girl talk” between a
couple of friends with a desire to showcase their own small businesses,
has grown into a collaborative event with a group of motivated women
where you can shop with vendors from the direct sales "Home
Party" network as well as crafters, designers, artists, service
providers and other small businesses in the Los Angeles area, all in one
convenient location!
Introducing, “Backyard Boutique LA”; a
one-of-a-kind shopping party just for urban-minded women, bringing
together clothing boutiques, original jewelers, spa service providers
and more. Think Tupperware
party with a twist…lots of different vendors, plenty of unique and
trendy items, and no boring sales presentations.
Creative in-home boutique parties provide the ultimate personal
shopping experience, in an intimate yet fun setting.
The Scene: Tables are set up throughout the home
or business, displaying products that can be bought right there on the
spot or explaining the services of, for example, a day spa or pet
adoption agency. Guests can leisurely check out the goods while munching
on hors-d'oeuvres and sipping wine.
The range of merchandise is incredible: handmade
jewelry, bath and skin-care products, clothing, handbags, and home decor
-- just to name a few. Service vendors include insurance agents, chefs,
personal trainers, photographers, party planners, hair stylists, and
others.
The party entertainment is the vendors themselves;
often doing demonstrations like a chair massage from the massage
therapist hoping to gain new clients, or a foot soak from the woman
selling skin-care products. Door
prizes and giveaways also add to the exciting festive atmosphere.
But it's not just the boutique party scene that's
making the talk of the town; it's the fact that they're devoted solely
to women business owners…mostly from small, home-based
businesses…and are creating a rapidly spreading network of business
relationships and new friendships.
